Where Are Blind Spots on a Semi Truck?

A truck’s blind spots are commonly referred to as “no-zones” where truck drivers are unable to see smaller vehicles and include:

Rear blind spot – directly behind the trailer and extending about 30 feet.
Front blind spot – in front of the truck, just below the driver’s line of sight.
Side blind spots – on both sides of the truck, from the side mirrors back to the end of the trailer and about one lane over from the truck’s side.
Right corner blind spot – at the front right corner of a semi truck, making it especially difficult for the driver to see objects or vehicles directly in front of them.
Left corner blind spot – at the front left corner of a semi truck, similar to the right corner blind spot but on the opposite side.
